good Web content has three clear, easily understood objectives: It elevates your search engine ranking; it holds the attention of your prospects and sells your product or service. By changing or turning over your content regularly, you further enhance your SEO rankings.

Branding Project: The Luxe Group – Exclusive Concierge Services

Client: The Luxe Group concierge service is like having a luxury hotel concierge service at your beck and call every day. Just imagine having a bespoke luxury concierge service on tap with an up-to-date knowledge of the latest services and unique experiences from around the world.

The Luxe Group is a team of professionals with a passion for all things luxury. Through extensive worldwide travel the team have developed a strong appreciation for unique, quality services around the globe. Their aim is to provide likeminded individuals with luxurious, standout experiences without the consuming research and organisation often involved.

The issue: The Luxe Group is brand new and required a look that communicated a passion for luxury to multiple targets. Their services range from fine dining, transport, accommodation to personal experiences and requests. With so much to communicate the brand was challenging. A further requirement was for an image library that would not date, and therefore not need to be constantly updated. Colour was also key here, to invoke ‘passion’, ‘exclusivity’ and ‘consummate luxury. The colours needed to remain fresh and appealing over time and not reflect anyone else’s brand.

The result: Stella Design developed a design that was sleek, elegant, exclusive and luxurious. We worked with the client to produce an exciting new brand and a series of collateral items needed for offline and online.

The feedback: “We are in full swing now with our marketing drive … and I just wanted to pass on some of the great feedback we have received from the brochures and website that we have presented…They are loving the design of the brochures and the continuity between those and the website. Terms such as crisp, elegant, luxurious (nice) and intimate have been used regularly - so we just wanted to say, once again, a big thank you and to let you know the response we're having in the market.”

Did you ever stop to consider that the Yellow Pages has over a million business advertisers, all fighting for business and visibility? In most cases, the only thing that separates the players from the non-starters is the logo.

A creative logo that catches the eye, signalling instantly what you do is vital.

Logo design or ‘branding’, as it is often referred to, is an effective way to market or advertise your business. When starting out, one of the most crucial things you will do is to create a logo and stationery. A logo design reflects a company’s identity, it becomes that platform for who you are and the service you provide. It becomes that way people remember you and is responsible for the sub-conscious view that people have of you. It becomes your personality.

A brand is fundamental to the strategic development of your business. The time and effort you put into it will be crucial to your success down the line. (And it’s very hard to change later on.)

Clearly defined messages express a company’s personality as well as determining its market positioning. This key feature is what sets one business, product or service apart from another.

What should you do? Engage the services of a qualified and experienced designer who can develop your brand strategy with you. A professional designer will establish your needs, wants and desires, develop concepts, research your competitors, then create a visual graphic identifier that people can ‘grab’ at a glance.

Once an identity has been established, the logo is then applied to other marketing collateral like basic stationery, a brochure or a point of sale item, packaging and a web site.

A strategically developed marketing piece is a tool used to drive sales. The idea is to evaluate what you want to accomplish and what image you want to communicate. A sophisticated brochure will entice potential customers by using strategically placed images and professionally written text to communicate the message.

Did you ever stop to think that a t-shirt bearing your company’s logo or product is actually a walking billboard at street level? Or that a shopping bag with minimal graphics and maximum space portrays exclusivity and sophistication to the name that appears on the bag? A clever direct mail piece will do the same – it will give the recipient an opportunity to respond and adds to the company’s efforts in building a brand.

Even world wide global brand strategies should serve as an inspiration for any company wanting to expand their business. These brands demonstrate daily the importance of awareness and recognition for their service or product. Without the aid of a designer to develop branding to incorporate within marketing or advertising campaigns, these companies would not have the brand recognition as they do today.

So where do you want your brand to take you?
